On Sep. 27, 2022, State Street Global Advisors announced that Yie-Hsin Hung will become the firm's president and CEO. She will replace Cyrus Taraporevala, who announced in January 2022 that he intended to retire. Hung has served as CEO of New York Life Investment Management since 2015, where she had previously held numerous leadership roles. SSGA expects Hung to join in December 2022. This announcement does not impact SSGA's Above Average Parent Pillar rating.
